Osimhen may miss crucial encounter with South Africa

 

BOUAKE – There are indications that Super Eagles’ main motivator, Victor Osimhen may miss the crucial encounter with Bafana Bafana of South Africa on Wednesday.

This is because he was not part of the team that traveled from Abidjan to Bouaké Monday evening via  Air Cote D’Ivoire flight at 10 PM.

According to the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Osimhen did not make the trip as a result of an abdominal discomfort.

“Team medics confirmed that he has been placed under close watch with a member of the medical team staying behind in Abidjan with him”, the NFF said.

The NFF added he will join the team if he cleared by the medical team.

“If cleared by tomorrow morning, he will join the rest of the squad before 5pm”, the NFF said.
