Women go bare, protest killings by cult groups in Awka

AWKA, Anambra, Nigeria – A group of aggrieved women have besieged Awka, Capital of Anambra State, protesting incessant killings by cult groups .

The women, who bore various placards, stripped themselves naked protesting killings by cult groups while the police authorities appear helpless.

In their nakedness, the aggrieved women chanted war songs, with their placards raised above their heads, they called for the dismissal of the Deputy Commissioner of Police for his inability to stop these incessant killings.
