ABUJA, Nigeria – The President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, has emphasized that his administration welcomes objective, rational, and constructive criticism as it can inspire better performance in public office.

He made this statement during a visit by the executives of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (FCT Correspondents Chapel) to his office in Abuja.

“Gentlemen of the media are crucial stakeholders in Nigerian football, and they are always welcome here at the Football House, and at any NFF event or activity. We will continue to show respect and appreciation for those who provide us with constructive criticism that serves the best interests of the game and aims at improving our administration.

While we are working diligently to make improvements, we choose not to conduct our affairs through newspapers or social media. We believe that our actions will speak louder than words, and the results of our efforts will become evident in due course.”
