APC elects Ganduje captured pocketing 5 million dollars to halt probe of corrupt contractor chairman

ABUJA, Nigeria – Corruption has risen and assumed prominence in Nigeria. Nigerians, even President Bola Ahmed Tinubu publicly associates with corruption following the election of former governor of Kanu State Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje as Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
It has never been this shameful. On February 10, 2022, Daily Nigeria published a video now trending online of the former governor now APC chairman stuffing his babariga with cripps US Dollars, 5 million, which he in the video collected from a contractor who was being investigated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC for non performing contract in a state under his watch.
Ganduje did not only pocket the bribe in such a shameful manner but went ahead to use instruments of the state to stop the EFCC from prosecuting the matter.
The matter has come alive again under the new government in Kano State but will the President allow the antigraft agency to prosecute this corrupt man hungry for Dollars, proceeds of corruption.
Ganduje was not the only person elected at the 12th National Executive Council meeting of the APC at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.
Senator Ajibola Bisiru was also elected National Secretary of the party.
President Bola Tinubu joined other party executives during the meeting.
