WASHINGTON – It is now a dead end for millionaires having fun aboard OceanGate submarine enroute their tour of the Titanic shipwreck, lying several feet below sea level in the ocean.

They were confirmed dead by U.S coastguard after the wreckage of the OceanGate submarine was discovered about 1,600 feet below sea level.

“They died as a result of catastrophic implosion” of the submersible conveying them, U.S. Coast Guard Rear Adm. John Mauger announced at a press conference.

According to him, five major pieces of debris were found 1,600 feet from the site of the Titanic on the sea floor. Mauger said they have notified the families and offered their condolences. Before them, OceanGate, announced that the five passengers “have sadly been lost.”

According to them, these men were true explorers who shared a distinct spirit of adventure, and a deep passion for exploring and protecting the world’s oceans.

“Our hearts are with these five souls and every member of their families during this tragic time.”

Hours before the announcement, the coastguard assured all that that the submersible has 96-hour supply of breathable air but that because the door was bolted from the outside, those inside would not have been able to open it on their own even if they were able to reach the surface.

He called the conditions “unforgiving”.

On board the OceanGate Titan are Stockton Rush, president and founder of OceanGate Expeditions; Paul-Henri Nargeolet, a French diver; Hamish Harding, a British billionaire who owns the company Action Aviation; Shahzada Dawood, a 48-year-old Pakistani businessman who resides in the UK; and Sulaiman Dawood, his 19-year-old son who also resides in the UK.

Stockton Rush is the CEO of OceanGate and has an estimated net worth of $12 million. He has a prosperous family background.

Paul-Henri Nargeolet on the other hand is reported to have an estimated net worth of $1.5 billion. Hamish Harding is a famous businessman, pilot, explorer and space tourist.

“Hamish Harding” has a net worth of $1 billion Dollars and was born 24 June 1964.

Shahzada Dawood Shahzada Dawood has an estimated net worth of USD 136.73 million. He was on the expedition with his 19 years old son, Sulaiman Dawood. They died together inside the OceanGate submarine.
