Moustaches elevated from past time to an art

 

LAGOS, Nigeria – Keeping rare moustaches are not common sights in Nigeria and in most part of Africa.

But that is not the case among the Scandinavians, Americans, natives of Europe and India where individuals breed moustaches as an art to the admiration of many.

However, in some countries, breeding moustaches is both an obsession and a regular past time, but in some areas it has been elevated into a sport that draws spectators from across the globe and even a source of income for those who love to indulge in it.

For instance, there is the world Beard and Moustache championships in New Orleans and the Great American Beard and Moustache Championship, all in the US and other places, although such competitions are often not regular but a delight and source of fun.
