Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol set to move to City

BERLIN – RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol is set to a move to Manchester City this summer, the Kicker sports magazine reported on Sunday.

According to the report, an offer from City is expected in the coming days.

Sporting director Max Eberl has repeatedly ruled out a transfer, but the club would be ready to let Gvardiol leave for a reported sum or around €110 million ($120.27 million)
The defender has a contract with the German Cup winners until 2027.

Losing Gvardiol would be a big hit for Leipzig, who already saw key players Konrad Laimer and Christopher Nkunku moving to Bayern Munich and Chelsea respectively.
