Donald Trump arraigned, pleads not guilty
MAIMI – Former President of the United States, Mr. Donald Trump was today arraigned before a Maimi District Court where he entered a no guilty plea to the 37 count charges brought against him.
He was however granted bail on self recognistion as a former president of the United States. His documents were not taken, neither did he enter into any bail bond.
The 37-count charge against Donald Trump include 31 counts of willful retention of classified documents; one count of conspiracy to obstruct justice and one count of withholding a document or record.
Others include one count of corruptly concealing a document or record, one count of concealing a document in a federal investigation, one count of scheme to conceal and one count of making false statements and representations.
Donald Trump was specifically charged by Judge Aileen Cannon neither to speak on the issue nor to talk to any of the witnesses.
Recall that his lawyers resigned days before he was due for arraignment today. Trump who has now flown to New Jersey for campaign and fund raising dinner, according to analysts would want to delay proceeding so that he could stand in for the election, which he hopes to win.
The prosecution on the other hand will prefer accelerated hearing to keep him out of the election.
Donald Trump sees the trial as a witch-hunt to prevent him from running for President of the United States, which he believes he will win.
