APGA replaces Udensi, Nweke with Abaribe, Ibe in BOT
UMUAHIA, Abia – All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has dropped Sir Chikwe Udensi and Barr Ahamdi Emmanuel Nweke as party’s Board of Trustees ( BoT)members representing Abia state.
They were replaced with the Senator Enyiannaya Abaribe, senator representing Abia south at the red chamber and the Abia state governorship candidate in 2023 election, Prof Gregory Ibe at the party’s national Congress held in Awka Anambra state on Tuesday.
They were announced members of the boards along prominent members of party across the country.
Meanwhile, during the congress, Rev Augustine Ehiemere was elected the APGA vice national chairman, south east, unopposed. He was elected along other 30 members of the national working committee of the party.
Ehiemere brought in alot of disruptive ideas that helped to shape the party in the state during his time as the chairman of Abia state APGA, despite the activities of some individuals to derail the party,he ended stronger and better as the state chairman.
Some party chieftains at the congress described him as a goal getter and a man of principle.
