BENIN, Edo, Nigeria – Celebrated actor, Chief Agbonifo Enaruna better known as Idemudia in the popular television series Hotel De Jordan is dead.
It is not clear where he died or what led to his death but he is in his 70s.
Nollywood Director, Lancelot Imasuen said he received the news with a heavy heart.
According, the demise of Idemudia is a great lose to the entertainment and culture industry in Edo state and Nigeria, recalling his great talents when he featured in the television series.
Idemudia was the talk of the town as a result of his lovely antics and acts of conversation in the series then on the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA in the early 70s.
“I recall with nostalgia my invitation to. Him to be part of one of my earliest production, “The Year 2000”, he said, stressing that his presence in the production was indeed a great memory that cannot be forgotten”, he said, urging him to rest in peace.
Hotel De Jordan started precisely in 1973. then on the Midwest Television MTV, which later became NTA Benin, following the take over of all television stations by the federal government.
He acted with the likes of Bob Allan, Richard Idubor, the Chief Ajas, played by Sam Osamede, Lord Mayor by the Late Musa Yusuf, David Ariyo((Kokori), and the late Sam Loco Eve among others.
