I must be president of Nigeria- Peter Obi

AWKA, Anambra – The presidential candidate of Labour Party LP Mr. Peter Obi has declared that he must be president of Nigeria.

Obi who is the former governor of Anambra State made the declaration on Friday at a Book presentation entitled “Peter Obi: Many voices, one Perspectives” in Awka Anambra state capital

The book presentation was designed to raise fund to enable Mr Peter Obi pursue his ongoing election court cases

“I must be the president of this country, if not today, it will be next time. I am not desperate, am not in hurry. I am committed to cause of better Nigeria “, he said .

Obi also said that he would respect whatever is the decision of courts in the ongoing election cases, noting that whatever is their decision he will be abided by it.

According to Obi, whatever is the decision of the ongoing court, i urge my supporters to respect it. He said ,they are not going to riot, rather they will continue in the struggle for better Nigeria

“We are peaceful, we are not going to quarrel with any politicians. Don’t be discourage about my apologies to people. As a youth we cannot fight our fathers even when we are right.

“We are not going to riot . I’ m in Nigeria . I don’t not have dual citizenship ,I will not run away we must be here to right the wrong in the country over the years ” he stated .

Obi said that he is on transit and he will certainly get to the destination, noting that he is committed to the project of better Nigeria.

According to him, those who want to be president should come out and tell Nigerians their plans for the people
