MUNICH – Bayern Munich have held initial talks with Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani over a possible transfer to the German record champions, broadcasters Sky reported on Tuesday.
The report said the conversations were very positive, but there wasn’t any concrete negotiation yet.
Other top European clubs are also reportedly interested in the player, who has scored 13 goals in the Bundesliga so far.
Kolo Muani moved from Nantes to Frankfurt last summer and has a contract at the Europa League champions until 2027.
“Of course Randal would attract attention with his performance. But so far we haven’t received any inquiry, from Bayern or another club,” Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krösche recently told Sky.
Bayern, meanwhile, are still looking for a top striker since Robert Lewandowski moved to Barcelona last summer. Besides Kolo Muani, the club is reportedly interested in Tottenham’s Harry Kane and Napoli star Victor Osimhen.
