APC PCC calls on Atiku, Obi to congratulate Tinubu

LAGOS, Nigeria – The Presidential Campaign Council of the ruling  All Progressive Congress, APC PCC  has called on the presidential candidates of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi and that of the Peoples Democratic  Party, PDP,  Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to congratulate the Presidential  candidate of the APC, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whom they believe will win the election.

At a press conference addressed by Mr. Dele Alake, Festus Keyamo,  Femi Fani-Kayode and others, the APC PCC said Obi and Atiku should imitate former President of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan who congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari before the end of the election.

Speaking on the press conference addressed by three political parties, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP,  Labour Party, LP  and the African Democratic Party, ADC, Mr.Festus Keyamo said what the parties are calling for is illegal and that the INEC umpire must finished the process before their allegations can be looked into.

Also speaking, Femi Fani-Kayode said what the parties are asking for  is to truncate the nation’s democracy and that the APC  will not allow it.

Alake  said Nigeria is not ready to abort this democracy. The APC PCC said the other candidates should imitate Tinubu who has accepted defeat in his home base Lagos and moved on.
