ABUJA, Nigeria – Coalition of Political Parties, CUPP has alleged that the All Progressive Congress (APC) has harvested 10 million bank accounts with bank verification numbers, BVN of Nigerians and their voters card as part of quest to rig the election and impose their candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Nigerians.
The CUPP presented the evidence of the allegations before Nigerians at well televised press conference during which they said the plot is for the ruling party to use the bank accounts to rig the election through Operation Wire Wire, (OWW).
Addressing the press conference, Spokesperson of the group, Mr. Ikenga Imo Ugochere in company of his members said the accounts have been harvested in APC controlled States like Imo, Ebonyi, Cross River State and others in their quest to rig the 2023 election.
There are also reports about harvesting of bank accounts of electorates in Lagos along with photocopies of their voters card to credit their bank accounts on presentation of evidence of votes for APC.
The CUPP made the revelation even as some agents of the APC were seen in video distributing vouchers to Nigerians to Nigerians ahead of the 2023 general election.
He alerted the banks to be on alert and inform the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC of any fraudulent deposits by political parties to influence the outcome of the 2023 general elections.
He also urged the security agencies to be alert to overt plan by political parties to thwart the election, adding that the APC having failed woefully is looking crocked means to thwart the will of the Nigerian people.
This same set of deceit maker said APC influenced INEC to manipulate voters card, that one failed, they have come with another deceit again. What will be will be. The unfortunate thing is that whoever want to fight this genuine battle shouldn’t have been in politics supporting one party.
