France tames Denmark 2-1 set for second round

DOHA, Qatar – The 974 stadium came alive on Saturday as Mbappe led his very determined side to edge out Denmark with a 2-1 final score line.
Mbappe scored the two goas for his side, the first goal came in the 61st minutes when Kylian Mbappe found the back of the net with his right foot.
Denmark pressed hard to equalize and the efforts paid up in the 68th minutes when Andres Christensen steered a header into the back of the net to make it 1-1.
France fought harder to get ahead and the classic run by Mbappe was rewarded in the 86th following good assist from Griezmann.
Denmark tried effortless to match the attack of the very determined France side but it was to no avail. The score line took France to the top of the group.
In other matches, Australia beat Tunisia 1-0, while Poland defeated Saudi Arabia 2-0.
