Cameroon forces Serbia to 3-3 draw at Qatar 2022 World Cup

 

DOHA, UAE – Cameroon today forced Serbia to a 3-3 draw at the ongoing FIFA 2022 World Cup in Doha to keep hope alive in the tournament.

Cameroon started the game on a good note when J Castelletto put his team ahead in the  29^th minutes  after connecting a neat ball from N . Coulou.

Pavlovic made it 1-1 for his team in extra time(46) before half-time  but that was not all, another hungry Serbian,  Milinkovic-Savic made it 2-1 for his side within the extra time(48) minutes, putting the scores at 2-1 at Half time.

Both team came into the second half  with a lot of energy but it was Serbia that had the upper hand when Mitrovic made it 3-1 for his side to put Cameroon in a very tight spot.

Nevertheless, Cameroon emboldened by the can do African spirit, took the ball to the Serbians. Their determination  paid off in the 63^rd minutes when Aboubakar hit the back of the Serbian net in the 63 minutes.

Three minutes later, another Cameroonian, Choupo-Moting made it 3-3, after picking a well tailored cross from  Aboubakar.
