LAGOS, Nigeria – Iconic actress, Sola Awojobi-Onayiga well known in classic television series called Fuji House of Commotion, produced by the late Amaka Igwe is dead.
The actress who was also featured in the television soap opera “Checkmate” also produced by the Amaka Igwe died today at around 3.45am after battling with an undisclosed illness.
Film critic, Dr. Hussain Shaibu announced the development on twitter in a very short statement.
“Just learnt that the accomplished Stage and Screen Actress and Fellow of Theatre Arts Auntie Sola Awojobi Onayiga passed on today.
The late actress was often referred to as Cooking practical in Checkmate
