PDP routs APC, reclaims stolen mandate in Osun

OSOGBO, Osun – The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has emerged winner of the governorship election held today in Osun State.
From reports monitored across the state, the PDP candidate has won in most Local Governments in the state. So far, from results collated across the state confirmed from the PDP situation, room, Gboyega Oyetola of the APC lost the election, even after polling a total of 187, 565 votes, while the dancing Senator, Senator Ademola Adeleke polled a total of 233, 923 votes to reclaim the victory he won four years ago but was stollen from by the ruling APC.
These were the results obtained from the 30 local governments in Osun State. The election, which was general peaceful until the collation began, saw Senator Ademola Adeleke defeating the sitting governor even in the polling unit situated in the Government House, Osogbo.
Senator Adeleke also defeated the sitting governor in the polling unit where the Minister for Internal Affairs, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbosola usually votes. However, Aregbesola is reported to have boycotted the election following his brawl with the sitting governor, who is candidate of the National Leader of the APC and Presidential candidate of the party, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
So far, the results have thrown the dancing senator into celebration even with rave of the moment musician, Davido kneeling down to thank the people of Osun at the Collation centre for redeeming the stolen mandate of his uncle.
Even the APC National Secretary, Senator Iyiola Omisore was chased away from the INEC collation centre and booed as he walk away in company of security men.
In the last minutes, reports that thugs from APC stormed some of the polling units and snatched away ballot boxes, forgetting that the results are been transmitted electronically.
