ENUGU, Nigeria – The Bishop of Anglican Church, Enugu Diocese, Most Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Chukwuma has defined what will bring about a new Nigeria.
The Bishop who was speaking at the Interdenominational Commendation Service for the first elected Vice President of Nigeria, late Dr. Alex Ekwueme said there will never be a new Nigeria, if Nigerians continue to elect people with expired and analogue brains.
He believes that those with expired and analogue brains are politicians above 65 years and is therefore calling on politicians who are 70 years and above to go and retire.
According to him, those who will make the new Nigeria possible are people with hot brains and technocrats.
Bishop Emmanuel Chukwuma said anybody above 65 years of age should not be president of Nigeria but that they should rather serve as consultants and advisers. “
“A new Nigeria needs people who are new in brains, not expired and analogue brains, that is the finality, let all those who are 70 years in politics go and retire, anybody above 65 years should not be president of Nigeria, … let them become consultants and advisers, the people who are really hot in brains and technocrats are waiting to be ready for the new Nigeria”, he said via a video now trending online.
