Uba, Ukachukwu conniving with party’s legal, others to destabilize Anambra for Wike

 

AWKA, Nigeria – Anambra State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has accused Linus Ukachukwu and  Chris Uba of  convincing  with the  party’s Legal Adviser Ajibade Adeyemi   to destabilize  the state for Governor of  Rivers state Nyesom Wike’s presidential ambition.

House  Member representing Ekwusigo Constituency, Hon. Onyebuchi Agustine Offore who spoke on behalf the party during a meeting of 21 local government council in Awka on Sunday said Nysom Wike is the problem of Anambra PDP.

Hon. Onyebuchi Agustine Offor who is aspiring to represent   Nnewi North, South and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency at house of  Representatives said PDP must call them to order before it becomes too late .

According to Onyebuchi Offor the activities of Chris Uba and Chief Linus Ukachukwu against the party are being sponsored by the governor of Rivers state Chief Nyesom Wike who is a Presidential aspirant of the party

” The person behind this thing is the governor of Rivers state Nyesom Wike who is using Chief Chris Uba and Chief Linus Ukachukwu to destabilize the party and to make sure that there will be no Primaries in the party and we will not field candidates for the 2023 general elections.

The National leadership of the party should call them to order before things get out of hand and if we do not have candidates for this election that would mean the end of the PDP in Anambra state” he said.

Also , Anambra PDP Called for  the  Suspension Of National  Legal Adviser of the party for unethical activities .

According to a communiqué signed by the twenty one local government executive chairman  of the party led by Bar Uchenna Obiora, the   party urged the National Chairman and all members of the NWC, to forthwith suspend the National Legal Adviser, Ajibade Adeyemi (SAN) for his clear and manifest of  unethical conduct and breach of his oath of office.

According to the state PDP, the NWC needs to exonerate themselves from all actions of the National Legal Adviser by suspending him.

Reacting on behalf of Uba and Wike Chief Linus Ukachukwu said that those that issued the communiqué are not PDP members but defectors from the All Progressive Congress  APC who have come to seek for tickets from backdoor  for the election.

According to him, those that issued the statement cannot  win election in Anambra  and  if they win by chance  ,they will return to their former party. He further said that Wike is an Igbo man and that when it comes to an Igbo man becoming the President of Nigeria,  he  is qualified and not those people claiming to be contesting for Presidency.
