Obasanjo met with the governors after his meeting with Peter Obi who has also been invited to 10 Downing Street, London by the British Prime Minister, Mr. Boris Johnson.
Although details of the meeting is still sketchy, we gathered that the former president have scanned through the lots parading themselves with the ambition of being the president of Nigeria to work for Peter Obi, who is the only clean candidate in the race with a clear focus on taking Nigerian from a consuming nation to a productive one.
Peter Obi who was speaking on Classic Radio said it is an abomination for a serving governor to be spending another country’s currency, stressing that the strength of a country is determined by its currency.
“If I am president and you spend another country currency as a sitting governor you will go to jail”, he said, adding that he is not desperate to be President of Nigeria.
He denounced the situation where manufacturers are looking for US Dollars to manufacture, they cannot find it whereas politicians are spending US Dollars.
