Anambra APC preaches hope at Easter

 

ONITSHA, Anambra, Nigeria –  All Progressives Congress, APC Anambra State Chapter has enjoined  Christians to emulate the sacrificial life of Christ.

The chairman of the state APC  Hon. Chief Basil Ejidike in a statement issued by  State Publicity Secretary, Iyke Oliobi, urged citizens not to lose hope in the state and  country .

He preached the hope as he felicitated   with Anambra  Christians  that  joined their counterparts all over the world to commemorate the resurrection of Lord Jesus Christ and his victory over death.

He urged them  to trust in God for better Nigeria  despite all odds and challenges. According to him, Jesus Chris   demonstrated hope even in the most difficult time , noting that hope is the major reason  for Easter celebration

“In this very trying times for our nation and particularly our dear State, Anambra, we can tap into the resilient spirit of Christ and cling onto the hope of a better tomorrow for our people where lives and properties are safe and secure.

The society cannot progress in an atmosphere of chaos and strife” he said. He appealed to the people  to consciously work to enthrone peace  and work together to overcome our present security challenges in the State

According to him,the APC Anambra State is committed to championing the interest of the  people at all times.

“On behalf of the entire State Working Committee of the party in the State, we wish Ndi Anambra a most joyous Easter celebrations filled with love, peace, tolerance, forgiveness and blessings” he said
