LAGOS, Nigeria – Minister of Health, Dr. Olurunnimbe Mamora has given out his twin daughters in marriage. The two, Kehinde and Taiwo got married same day, late last year.
The former Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly blessed the twins in company of his wife before handing them over their husbands.
Speaking on their marriage, they said:
“We got proposed to on the same day & got married on the same day! The wedding planning was not always smooth considering our different personalities.
“However, the experience was superb and we built memories that still get me emotional! Super grateful”, the twin said.
Also speaking, one of the twin said, “One of the most profound things I’ve heard about love/ relationships is that: “Soulmates are not born, they are made”.
“This is contrary to what most of us have believed…Love is a decision to be intentional; intentional about being patient with your significant other, being kind, forgiving, laughing when you are upset (rather than doing yanga/ giving an attitude😂), e.t.c…even when you don’t feel like!
“Through these experiences, you learn, grow together, and shape yourselves to becoming each other’s true soulmates. Cheers to this journey we’ve chosen to becoming soulmates”, she said.
