LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 301 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic, bringing all time cases in the country to 250, 929.
But out of the 250, 929 total cases, 224, 052 patients have been treated and discharged, while 3, 103 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 23, 774, while 8 patients died in the last 24 hours.

There are now 327, 391, 248 total cases of Coronavirus pandemic worldwide, 5,538, 422 patients have kicked the bucket, while 9, 620, 748, 419 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide, based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.
According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, reporting 65, 599, 883 total infections, while 850, 484 patients have passed on(333, 602 new and 730 deaths#), followed by India, which has documented 37, 122, 164 total cases of infections, while 486, 066 patients are no more(271, 202 new and 314 deaths#) and Brazil, now reporting 22, 981, 851 all time cases, while 621, 233 patients have passed on(48, 562 new and 170 deaths#).
The United Kingdom remains the 4th country most hit with the pandemic, documenting 15, 316, 457 total infections, while 152, 483 lives are no more(70, 347 new and 89 deaths#), followed by France, which has reported 14, 283, 514 all time cases and 127, 957 deaths(278, 128 new and 98 deaths#) and Russia, reporting 10, 621, 410 all time infections and 314,838 deaths(28, 977 new and 672 deaths#).
Turkey is the 7th country most affected, reporting 10, 459, 094 all time infections, while 84, 758 patients are gone(185, 924 new and 480 deaths#) , followed by Italy, now reporting 8, 706, 915 total infections, while 141,104 lives have perished from the pandemic(157, 465 new and 248 deaths#) and Spain, reporting 8, 093, 036 total cases, while 90, 759 patients could not make it alive.
Germany has come down as the 10th country most afflicted, reporting 7, 991, 432 total cases and 115, 624 deaths (45, 293 new and 25 deaths#) and South Africa, which has reported 3, 559, 292 all time infections, while 93, 364 patients could not make it alive(2659 new and 86 deaths#).
