LAGOS, Nigeria – There are now 325, 056, 882 confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic globally, 5,533, 227 patients have passed on, while 9, 601, 388, 941 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.
According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, now reporting 65,266, 281 all time cases, while 849, 754 patients have passed on(723, 127 new and 1680 deaths#), followed by India, which has reported 36, 850, 962 confirmed cases, while 485, 752 patients have passed on(268, 833 new and 402 deaths#), followed by Brazil with 22, 933, 289 total cases, while 621, 063 patients could not make it alive(111, 112 new and 233 deaths#).
The United Kingdom has come up as the 4th country most afflicted, now reporting 15, 246, 110 all time cases, while 152, 394 patients are no more alive(82, 468 new and 291 deaths#), followed by France with 14, 005, 385 all time cases and 127,859 deaths(324, 610 new 148 deaths#) and Russia with 10, 592, 433 total infections, while 314,166 lives have perished as a result of the pandemic(29, 949 new and 708 deaths#).
Turkey has come up as the 7th country most hit, reporting 10, 273, 170 all time infections, while 84, 278 patients could not survive the pandemic, followed by Italy with 8, 549, 450 total infections and 140, 856 patients are no more(192, 936 new and 308 deaths#) and Spain with 8, 093, 036 total cases, while 90, 759 patients could not make it alive.
Germany has come down as the 10th country most hit, reporting 7, 946, 139 all time infections, while 115,599 patients have passed on(66, 785 new and 217 deaths#) and South Africa, which has reported 3,556,633 total cases, while 93, 278 lives have perished(4590 new and 161 deaths#).
