ABUJA, Nigeria – The crisis rocking the All Progressive Congress(APC) over lingering convention worsened during the week following the decision of the Director General of the Progressive Governors Forum(PGF), Mr. Salihu Moh. Lukman to resign
We gathered that the Salihu Moh. Lukman resigned following what transpired during the meeting of the PGF, which lasted overnight till early Monday morning.
The DG, we gathered was very vocal during the meeting, a development which offended some of the governors, who shouted him down but others were of the view that the DG be allowed to air his views as a chieftain of the party.
However, the impasse, the first of its kind, we gathered did not go down well with the party chieftain, forcing him to tender his resignation letter.
