LAGOS, Nigeria – There are presently 274, 646, 168 confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic worldwide, 5, 353, 791 patients are no more, while 8, 680, 678, 207 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered globally based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.

According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, reporting 50, 826, 922 total cases of Coronavirus pandemic, while 806,377 patients have perished(76, 562 new and 185 deaths#), followed by India with 34,740,275 all time cases of infections, while 477, 422 patients are no more(7081 new and 264 deaths#) and Brazil, which has reported 22,212,343 total cases of infections, while 617, 754 patients have passed on(7402 new and 359 deaths#).
The United Kingdom remains the 4th country most hit, reporting 11, 425, 656 all time infections, while 147,679 patients could not make it alive(82, 125 new and 45 deaths#), followed by Russia, which has documented 10, 037, 546 all time infections, while 291,336 lives are no more(27, 680 new and 996 deaths#) and Turkey, which has reported 9, 173, 089 all time infections and 80,415 deaths(34, 554 new and 362 deaths#).
France is the 7th country most hit by the pandemic, now reporting 8, 730, 140 all time cases of Coronavirus, while 122, 478 patients have passed on(48, 473 new and 75 death#), followed by Germany, now reporting 6, 812, 746 total infections, while 108, 285 deaths(24, 190 new and 147 deaths#) and Iran, which has documented 6, 170, 979 confirmed cases of the pandemic, while 131, 083 others could not make it alive(1968 new and 50 deaths#).
Argentina is the 10th country most hit, reporting 5, 386, 453 all time cases, while 116, 899 others are no more and South Africa(4163 new and 7 deaths#), the most afflicted African country.
