NCC extends deadline for submission of bid for 3.5GHz Spectrum auction

ABUJA, Nigeria – The Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC has extended the deadline for submission of bid in respect of 3.5 GHz spectrum band auction and Initial Bid Deposits (IBDs).

The bid was scheduled to close today Wednesday, 24 November 2021. But it has been extended  to 5PM on Monday, 29^th November, 2021.

In a statement, Director Public Affairs, Dr. Ikechukwu Adinde said the bid was extended due to challenges in air travels on intending bidders.

“Due to the challenges posed to air travels as witnessed recently and considering that it may have some impact on intending bidders regarding the submission of their bids, the Commission hereby extends the deadline for submission of bids and Initial Bid Deposits (IBDs) to 5.00 pm on Monday, 29th November, 2021”,he said.

According to the statement,  “all other events as scheduled in the Information Memorandum remain unchanged”.
