LAGOS – The Nigeria Centre for Decease Control, NCDC has confirmed 41 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic, bringing all time cases to 213, 924.

But out of the 213, 924 confirmed cases, 207, 114 patients have been treated and discharged, while 2, 975 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 3835  active cases of Coronavirus pandemic.

There are now 260,522,651 confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic worldwide, 5, 187, 665 patients have passed on while 7, 552,203, 032 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering,  Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.

According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, reporting 48, 162, 352  all time cases, while 776, 273 patients have passed on(40, 501 new and 528 deaths#), followed by India, which has documented 34, 555,431 all time cases, while 467, 468 patients could not make it alive(10, 549 new and 488 deaths#) and Brazil, which has reported 22,055,238 confirmed cases and 613, 642 deaths (12, 126 new and 303 deaths#).

The United Kingdom remains the 4^th country most hit, reporting 10, 125, 637  all time cases, while 145, 036 patients are no more(49, 829 new and 161 deaths#), followed by  Russia with 9, 337, 575  all time infections, while 265, 134 patients have kicked the bucket(33, 824 new and 2078 deaths#) and Turkey, now reporting 8, 702, 611 confirmed cases, while 76, 041 patients have died from the Coronavirus pandemic(48, 469 new and 423 deaths#).

France is the 7^th country most afflicted by the Coronavirus pandemic, now reporting 7, 654,128 total cases, while 119, 818 patients have been confirmed dead(34, 472 new and 60 deaths#) , followed by Iran with 6, 102, 056 Coronavirus cases and 129, 462 deaths(4384 new and 86 deaths#) and Argentina, which has reported 5, 322, 127  all time cases, while 116, 480 other patients could not make alive from the Coronavirus pandemic(2260 new and 22 deaths#).

Spain is the 10^th country most hit, reporting 5, 131,012  total confirmations and 87, 955 deaths(19, 170 new and 51 deaths#) and South Africa, which has reported 2, 952, 500  all time infections and 89, 771 deaths from Coronavirus pandemic.
