LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 116 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic, bringing all time cases to 212, 627.

But out of the 212, 627 confirmed cases, 204, 249 patients have been treated and discharged, while 2, 905 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 5473 active cases, while 3 patients died in the last 24 hours.

“NCDC: 116 new cases of COVID19Nigeria; 1mo – 53, Plateau -30, FCT – 10, Kano -9, Kaduna -8, Lagos -3, Rivers -3; 212, 627 confirmed; 204, 249 discharged; 2, 905 deaths”, the NCDC has announced.

There are now 249,470,234 all time cases of Coronavirus pandemic, 5,043,218 patients have lost their lives to the virus, while 7,223,973,789 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.

According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted, reporting 46,457,782 all time infections, while 754,215 lives have been wasted(21, 717 new and 285 deaths#), followed by India, which has documented 34, 344,683 all time cases, while 460,265 others could not make it alive, and Brazil which has reported 21, 862,458 all time cases, while 609,060 others have lost their lives.

The United Kingdom remains the 4^th country most hit, reporting 9, 316, 985 all time cases, while 142,174 patients have kicked the bucket(30, 367 new and 155 deaths#), followed by Russia with 8, 613,533 all time cases, while 241, 095 patients have kicked the bucket(40, 210 new and 1152 deaths#) and Turkey which has documented 8, 206, 345 all time infections and 71, 926 deaths(27, 474 new and 202 deaths#).

France is the 7^th country most hit, reporting 7, 310, 967 all time cases, while 118, 855 patients could not make it alive(9664 new and 25 deaths#), followed by Iran, which has reported 5, 980,260 confirmed cases of Coronavirus and 127, 173 deaths(6308 new and 120 deaths#) and Argentina, which has reported 5, 295,260 all time infections, while 116, 083 lives are no more.

Spain is the 10^th country most hit with 5, 025,639 confirmed cases and 87, 504 confirmation and South Africa, which has documented 2, 923,393 confirmed cases and 89,295 deaths.
