LAGOS – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 36 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic, bringing all time cases to 213, 625.

But out of the 213, 625 all time cases,  206,  778 patients have been treated and discharged, while 2, 974 patients could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 3873 active cases of Coronavirus pandemic.

There are now 258, 555,938 confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic worldwide, 5, 163,429 patients have passed on while 7, 447, 455,332 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.

According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, reporting 47, 938, 269  all time cases, while 773, 021 patients have passed on(93, 259 new and 1048 deaths#), followed by  India, which has documented 34,526, 480  all time cases, while 466, 147  patients could not make it alive(7579 new and 236 deaths#) and Brazil, which has reported 22,019,870  all time cases, while 612, 782 patients could not make it alive(2594 new and 123 deaths#).

The United Kingdom has come up as the 4^th country most afflicted, reporting 9, 985, 393 all time cases, while 144,579 others have passed on(43, 619 new and 165 deaths#), followed by Russia, which has registered 9,238,330  total cases, while 261, 526 patients have kicked the bucket(32, 899 new and 1207 deaths#) and Turkey, now reporting 8, 598,380 total cases of infections  and 75, 235 deaths(24, 856 new and 193 deaths#).

France remains the 7^th country most hit by Coronavirus pandemic with 7, 553, 507 all time infections, while 119, 605 patients are no more(30, 499 new and 84 deaths#) , followed by Iran which has reported 6, 088,009 total infections, while 129, 177 patients could not make it alive (5144 new and 124 deaths#)and Argentina with 5, 315,989 total infections, while 116,382 lives have perished(641 new and 5 deaths#).

Spain is the 10^th country most afflicted, reporting 5, 103, 315 all time cases of Coronavirus pandemic, while 87, 866 patients have passed on(6777 new and 34 deaths#) and South Africa, which has reported  2, 930,174  total cases of Coronavirus pandemic, while 89, 584 patients are now dead.
