LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 110 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic in the country , bringing all time cases to 214, 092.

But out of the 214, 092 confirmed cases, 207, 254 patients have been treated and discharged, while 2, 976 patients could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with  3862 active cases of Coronavirus, while 1 patient died in the last 24 hours.

“NCDC: 110 new cases of COVID19Nigeria; Imo – 27, Katsina -23,  Rivers – 20,  Ondo – 11,  Kaduna – 9, FCT – 6,  Oyo -6,  Plateau – 3,  Osun -2,  Ekiti -1, Gombe -1,  Zamfara -1;  214,  092, confirmed ; 207,  254 discharged;  2, 976 deaths”, the NCDC has announced.

There are now 261, 406, 293 confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic worldwide, 5,198, 738 patients have been killed by the pandemic, while 7, 601, 403, 924 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide based on the latest statistics from the Centre for the Systems Science  and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.

According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, reporting 48, 214, 360 confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic, while 776, 586 patients have passed on(25, 669 new and 190 deaths#), followed by India, which has documented 34,572, 523 confirmed cases, while 468, 554 patients have passed on(8774 new and 621 deaths#)  and Brazil, which has registered 22, 076, 863 all time cases, while 614, 186 patients are no more(9233 new and 229 deaths#).

The United Kingdom remains the 4^th country most hit, reporting 10, 202, 303  all time cases of Coronavirus, while 145, 218 patients are no more(36, 616 new and 51 deaths#), followed by Russia, which has documented 9, 403, 480  all time cases and  267, 527 deaths(32, 714 new and 1190 deaths#)  and Turkey, which has registered 8, 726, 370  all time cases of Coronavirus pandemic, while 76, 233  patients are already dead(23,759 new and 192 deaths#).

France has documented 7, 723, 032 all time cases of Coronavirus pandemic, 119, 875 patients have given up the ghost(68, 872 new and 57 deaths#), followed by Iran, reporting 6,108, 882  all time cases  of Coronavirus and 129,629 deaths(3781 new and 80 deaths#) and Argentina, which has documented 5, 325,560 all time cases, while 116,517 patients could not make it alive(1521 new and 12 deaths#).

Spain has come up as the 10^th country most afflicted, reporting 5, 131, 012 all time cases of Coronavirus pandemic, while 87, 955 patients have kicked the bucket and South Africa, which is the most afflicted country in Africa. 

South Africa has reported 2,961,406  total cases of Coronavirus pandemic, while 89, 797 other patients are no more alive(2858 new and 6 deaths#).
