LAGOS – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 90 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic, bringing all time cases in the country to 212, 051.
But out of the 212, 051 new cases, 203, 338 patients have been treated and discharged, while 2,898 others could not survive the pandemic, leaving Nigeria with 5815 active cases of Coronavirus, while 2 died in the last 24 hours.

There are now247,129,785 confirmed cases of Coronavirus globally, with a new peak of 5, 005, 638 deaths, while 7,083,377,262 doses of vaccines have been administered based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.
According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted globally, reporting 46, 091, 924 all time infections, while 747,033 lives have perished(112, 121 new and 1201 deaths#), followed by India, which has documented 34, 285,814 all time cases and 458,437 deaths, and Brazil, which has reported 21, 814, 693 all time cases, while 607, 922 patients could not make it alive(3838 new and 98 deaths#).
The United Kingdom continues as the 4th country most hit, reporting 9, 140,441 total confirmations, while 141, 098 patients are no more(39, 968 new and 43 deaths#), followed by Russia, now reporting 8, 417, 305 all time cases, while 235,318 lives have perished(39, 321 new and 1124 deaths#) and Turkey, which has registered 8, 061,636 all time infections and 70, 828 deaths(28, 678 new and 217 deaths#).
France remains the 7th country most hit with 7, 270,410 all time infections, while 118, 632 lives have perished, followed by Iran with 5, 934,495 all time cases, while 126,456 lives are no more (1883 new and 7 deaths#)Argentina which has reported 5, 289, 945 confirmed cases, while 115,989 patients are no more(1138 new and 39 deaths#).
Spain is the 10th country most hit with 5, 011, 148 total cases, while 87, 368 patients could not make it alive and South Africa which has registered 2, 922, 222 confirmations and 89, 179 deaths(106 new and 2 deaths#).
