Collapsed Storey Building: Death toll rise to 36

IKOYI, Lagos, Nigeria – The death toll on the collapsed 21 storey building at the Gerard Road, Ikoyi has risen to 36, even as officials say there is no official manifest to determine the number of people who were on site when the building carved in.
According to news monitored on Arise News shows that out of the 36 people that have been confirmed dead, three are women, while the remaining 33 are men.
So far only nine people, eight men, one woman have been rescued alive from the building, with some still receiving treatment, even as families gather outside the building at Ikoyi, Lagos.
So far there is a help desk on site, with an information desk to enable families make clarification on their missing family members.
A health official who spoke said there will be a postmortem examination on the corpses to enable family identify the bodies later on.
