Facebook,WhatsApp and Instagram down globally

LAGOS, Nigeria – Major internet platforms, Facebook , Instagram  and WhatsApp  are down globally, making it impossible for most internet users to interact.

Social media users have resulted to the use of Twitter and other alternative to voice their annoyance about the development.

Messages sent on Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp could not be delivered as at the time of writing this piece.

So far management  of Facebook, who also own Instagram and  WhatsApp have sent out messages on Twitter that its  IT specialists  are  working to ensure that it ends the outage in the shortest possible time.
