 LAGOS – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 665 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic, bringing all time cases to 181, 962. But out of the 181,  962 confirmed cases, 166, 826 patients have been treated and discharged, while 2, 219 patients could not make alive, leaving Nigeria with 12, 917 active cases of Coronavirus pandemic, while 8 patients died in the last 24 hours.#coronavirus

There are now 206, 595, 931  confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic worldwide, 4, 351,506  patients are no more, while  4, 644,895, 627 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.

According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, reporting 36,626, 724 confirmed cases, while 621, 202 patients have perished as a result of the virus(42, 246 new and 221 deaths*), followed by India, which has reported 32,156,493 all time cases, while 430,732 patients have passed on(38, 898 new 478 deaths*) and Brazil which has documented 20, 319, 000 cases, while 567,862 patients have kicked the bucket.

France remains the 4^th country most hit, reporting 6, 471, 262 all time cases, while 112, 705 patients are no more, followed by Russia reporting 6, 490, 421 all time cases, while 166, 795 patients are no more(21, 531 new and 799 deaths*) and the United Kingdom which has reported 6, 270, 599 confirmations, while 131, 209 patients have died(29, 220 new and 93 deaths*).

Turkey remains the 7^th country most hit, reporting 6, 039, 827 all time infections, while 52, 860 patients have kicked the bucket, followed by Argentina, which has registered  5, 074,725 total confirmations and 108, 815 deaths and Colombia, which has documented  4, 864, 629  confirmed cases, while 123, 356 patients have been killed by the virus(4,007 new and 135 deaths*).

Spain has come up as the 10^th country most afflicted, reporting  4, 693, 540 confirmations, while 82, 470  patients are no more and South Africa, which has documented 2, 595, 447 all time cases, while  76, 869 patients have passed on(13, 020 new and 238 deaths*).
