LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 444 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic, bringing all time cases to  174, 759. But out of the 174, 759 confirmed cases,  165, 037 patients have been treated and discharged, while 2, 160 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 7562 active cases of Coronavirus, while 11 patients died in the last 24 hours.

There are now  198, 821, 310  confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic,  4,234, 360 patients are no more, while 4,145, 094, 964 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered worldwide based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.

According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, reporting 35, 122,269 all time cases, while 613, 866 patients have died from the pandemic(125, 164 new and 643 deaths*), followed by India, which has documented 31, 695, 958 confirmed cases,  while 424,773 patients have been killed by the pandemic(40, 134 new and 422 deaths*), and Brazil which has reported 19,953, 501  all time cases and  557, 223 deaths(15, 143 new and 389 deaths*).

Russia  has come up as the 4^th country most afflicted, reporting 6, 230, 482 confirmed cases and  157, 496 deaths(22, 969 new and 770 deaths*), followed by  France, which has reported 6, 210, 058 all time infections, while 112,075  patients have passed on(124 new and 2 deaths*) and  United Kingdom, which has reported 5, 929, 786  all time cases, while 130,039 patients have passed on(22, 194 new and 25 deaths*).

Turkey has come up as the 7^th country most hit, reporting 5, 770, 833 all time cases, while 51,519  patients have kicked the bucket(43, 788 new and 187 deaths*), followed by Argentina, which has documented 4,947, 030  all time infections, while 106, 045 patients are no more(11, 183 new and 273 deaths*) and Colombia, which has reported 4,801, 050  all time cases, while 121,216 lives have been wasted(218 deaths*).

Spain has come up as the 10^th country most hit, reporting 4,502, 983 all time infections, while 81, 643 others are no more alive (55, 939 new and 157 deaths*) and South Africa which has documented 2, 461, 758 confirmations, while 72, 437 patients have passed on(5574 new and 246 deaths*) .
