WEMBLEY, London – After a thrilling full time performance at the Euro2020, it was England that got the better side, when Harry Kane collected a loose ball from his penalty kick blocked by the goalkeeper that found the back of the net, putting England 2- 1 ahead of Denmark.
The 90,000 capacity stadium came alive in the 39th minutes when Simon KJaer, a midfielder on the side of Denmark sent the ball into his own net through a defensive blunder.
Mikkel Damsgaard made it 1-1 when he scored against England through a direct free kick, with his right foot for a wonderful finish, and ended the first half 1-1.
Ball possession was 55 – 45 percent in favour of England at half time. Simon Kjaer was also knocked down and injured and receives medical attention on the field of play. Harry Maguire was Yellow carded in the 49th minutes, while Kasper Dolberg is substituted with Christian Noergaard in the 67 minutes.
John Stones was penalized for pushing down Joakim Maehle in the 56 minutes while Daniel Wass was Yellow carded in 72nd minutes. Jannik Vestergard is penalized for pushing Harry Kane.
In the 102 minutes, Joakim from Denmark concedes a penalty for tripping Raheem Sterling. Harry Kane takes the penalty shot but the kipper blocks the ball and puts it back into play. Harry Kane scores after picking the loose ball in 104minutes to make it 2-1 for England.
