LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 39 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic, bringing all time cases to 167,331. But out of the 167,331 confirmed cases, 163,913 patients have been treated and discharged, while 2,118 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 1300 active cases of Coronavirus.

There are now 178, 932, 193 confirmed cases of Coronavirus worldwide, 3, 876, 081 patients have passed on, while 2,677, 908,337 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.
According to the centre, the United States remains the most affected country, worldwide, reporting 33, 560, 511 confirmed cases of Coronavirus, while 602,380 patients have passed on(10, 046 new and 402 deaths*), followed by India, which has reported 29, 977, 861 all time cases, while 389, 302 lives have been wasted(42, 640 new and 1167 deaths*) and Brazil, which has documented 17, 966, 831 all time infections, while 502, 586 patients are already dead(38, 903 new and 761 deaths*).
France has come up as the 4th country most afflicted, reporting 5, 821, 736 all time infection, while 110, 991 others have perished(2161 new and 51 deaths*), followed by Turkey, which has documented 5, 381, 736 all time cases, while 49, 293 patients are no more(6143 new and 57 deaths*) and Russia which has confirmed 5, 288, 766 all time cases, while 128, 180 others have died as a result of the pandemic(16,438 new and 539 deaths*).
The United Kingdom has documented 4, 668, 019 confirmations, while 128, 272 patients have been killed(11, 484 new and 27 deaths*) and Argentina, which has reported 4, 277, 395 all time infections, while 89, 490 lives have been wasted(8606 new and 447 deaths*) and Italy which has reported 4, 254, 294 confirmed cases, while 127, 322 patients are no more alive(834 new and 31 deaths*).
Colombia remains the 10th country most hit, reporting 3, 968, 405 all time cases, while 110, 582 patients have passed away(23, 239 new and 10, 648 deaths*) and South Africa which has reported 1, 843,572 confirmed cases, while 59, 092 lives have been wasted by the pandemic(11,093 new and 297 deaths*).
