LAGOS, Nigeria – Faith, Mac and Dotun were today eliminated from the rave of the moment show, Nigerian Idol, when it unveiled top 9 contestants. Faith, Mac and Dotun failed to impress the judges made up of Obi Asika, Sheyi Shey and DJ Sose, thus ending their stay in the music academy.
Once more, Beyonce was able to cajole the judges with her natural beauty and scaled through after putting up a good performance with her choice song, Dynamite. Faith was also brilliant with her showing on the stage and got a standing ovation from Sheyi Shay.
Emmanuel was also not a push over with this rendition of ‘Beneath Your Beautiful’ by Labrinth. He ihas been adjudged to have put up the best performance.
Akunna was also a smash in her performance of XO by Beyonce. Some have described her as good and consistent. Clinton was also a delight to watch on stage. Although he may have made a tough choice of song but he pulled it through, says Obi Asika, one of the judges.
Frances performed Writing on the Wall by SamSmith after saying he is actually not scared to move into thenext round. Comfort came in with a lot of energy and she was able to secure a slot for the next round so is the Bayelsa boy, Kingdom, who was also in the best of element during the show.
