LAGOS – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) has confirmed 49 new cases of Coronavirus in the country, bringing all time cases to 165,661.

But out of the 165,661 confirmed cases, 156,399 patients have been  treated and  discharged, while  2,066 others could not survive the pandemic, leaving Nigeria with 7196 active cases of Coronavirus.

“NCDC@NCDC gov 49 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria; Enugu-22,  Lagos-18,  Rivers-6,  Akwa Ibom-2 and  Edo-1: 165,661 confirmed; 156,399 discharged; 2,066 deaths”, the NCDC has said.

Globally, there are now 161, 482, 418 confirmed cases,  3,  351, 517  patients are already dead, while a total of 1, 408, 423, 851 doses of vaccination have been administered worldwide.
