ABUJA, Nigeria – Deputy Inspector General of Police, Mr. Usman Alkali Baba has been appointed as Acting Inspector General of Police.
His appointment was announced via the twitter handle of President Muhammadu Buhari. He was appointed in acting capacity with immediate effect.
“APPOINTMENT: President @MBuhariHas approved the appointment of Deputy Inspector-General of @PoliceNG (DIG) Usman Alkali Baba as Acting Inspector-General of Police, with immediate effect”.
