LAGOS, Nigeria – There are now 131,128,306 confirmed cases of Coronavirus  pandemic worldwide, 2, 850,160  patients are already dead, while 74, 372, 542 others have recovered  and therefore discharged. The world is now left with 53, 905, 604  active cases of Coronavirus based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.

According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, now reporting 30, 703, 583 confirmed cases while 554, 988 others have lost their lives(36, 399 new and 215 deaths*), followed by Brazil which has documented 12, 953, 597  confirmed cases, 330, 193 patients are no more, while 11, 341,509 others have been treated and discharged, leaving Brazil with 1, 281, 895 active cases of Coronavirus and India which has reported 12, 485,509 all time cases, 164, 623 patients are no more while 11, 629, 289 others have been treated and discharged, leaving India with 691, 597  active cases of Coronavirus(93, 249 new and 513 deaths*).

France is the 4th country  most affected, reporting 4, 883,174  confirmations, 96, 808 deaths and 306,453 recoveries, leaving France with 4, 479, 913 active cases of Coronavirus(80, 629 new and 369 deaths*), followed by Russia which has documented 4, 529, 576  all time cases, 98, 713 deaths  while 4, 156, 141 others have been treated and discharged, leaving Russia with 274, 722 active cases of Coronavirus(8697 new and 350 deaths*) and the United Kingdom which has registered 4, 373,798  all time infections, 127, 078 patients have passed on while 13, 254 others have recovered and therefore discharged, leaving the UK with 4, 233, 466 active cases of Coronavirus(2404 new and 10 deaths*).

Italy remains the 7th country most affected by the pandemic,  now reporting 3, 668, 264  confirmations, 111, 030  deaths and 2, 988, 199 recoveries, leaving Italy with 569, 035 active cases of Coronavirus(18,017 new 326 deaths*), followed by Turkey which has documented  3, 487,050 all time cases, 32, 263 patients are no more, while 3, 105,350 others have recovered and therefore discharged, leaving Turkey with 349, 437  active cases of Coronavirus(41, 998 new and 185 deaths*) and Spain with 3, 300,965 all time infections, 75, 698 patients have lost their lives, while 150, 376 others have been treated and discharged, leaving Spain with 3, 074, 891 active cases of Coronavirus.

Germany remains the 10th country worst hit by the pandemic, now reporting 2, 896,105 all time infections, 77, 021 patients are no more, while 2, 576,630 others have survived the pandemic, leaving Germany with 242, 454 active cases of Coronavirus(62*deaths) and South Africa which has documented 1, 551, 964 all time cases, 52, 987 patients are no more, while 1, 447, 363 others have been treated and discharged, leaving South Africa with 51, 614 active cases of Coronavirus(1240 new and  41 deaths*).
