Police, DSS, soldiers make futile attempt to arrest Sunday Igboho

 

LAGOS, Nigeria – Attempt by a combined team of the Nigerian Police Force, DSS and soldiers on Friday  to arrest the self-appointed liberator of the Yoruba race, Mr. Sunday Igboho failed.

Mr. Sunday Igboho, who has a lot of followers has vowed to liberate Yorubaland from the menace of herders who have killed, maimed  and destroyed farmlands in the South West.

According to former Minister of Aviation, Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode,  Sunday Igboho was on his way to Lagos to see Pa Ayo Adebanjo when the security officers, number about 40 made attempt to arrest him.

The situation, according to sources became rowdy when followers of Sunday Igboho rushed to the scene.  Click red HERE to watch the video

“I just spoke to my brother Sunday Igboho. He told me there was a violent attempt to arrest him this afternoon by a joint team of soldiers, DSS operatives & policemen numbering about 40 on the Ibadan/Lagos Expressway whilst he was on his way to see Baba Ayo Adebanjo in Lagos”, FFK said.
