Anambra 2021: PRP guber aspirant promises to fight for poor and needy

 

LAGOS, Nigeria – People’s  Redemption Party (PRP) governorship aspirant in Anambra state 2021 election, chief Nnamdi Nwawuo  has said that he wants to be governor  in order to  fight for needy and the poor in society .

Nwawuo is the chief priest of Ayaya shrine Nando ,in Anambra East local of Anambra  state made the statement while declaring his intention to be governor  before the officials of the party in Awka ,state capital  at the weekend .

According to him, he had searched for a political party that is   poor masses friendly and he found that in PRP, noting that it is time to move focus to the poor and needy in the state .

” I want to fight for the poor in the society . The poor have suffered much and I am coming out  to be governor so that they have succour and smiles in their faces. My government will place priority  on solving the problems of  those neglected by the system ” he said .

He promised to activate mechanised  agricultural scheme  in every local government area in the state to enhance productivity of farmers.

“We will also look into public schools in the state and make them effective and functional. Our public schools are bad and they need attention. Again, education in the state will be free so that the poor will  have access to quality education. There is no good public health services in the state ,this will be one of my major programmes ,” he said .

He also promised to be giving N25,000 allowances to the disable people in the state every month for their upkeep. On how his intention to  match the billionaires aspirants in other parties, he said that Anambra people are wiser now , results can no longer be manipulated to favour any party or person , noting that votes must count this time around.

He also expressed confident that PRP would take over the state after the election. The state chairman of PRP, Hon. Mathias Aninwachukwu  assured Nwawou of the official supports to ensuring that he clinch the party ticket for the election.

According to him, the party officials will mobilise indigenes and none indigenes for the PRP to be at the government house Agu- Awka  this time. He called on the aspirant to always count on them for the success of the governorship election in the state .

According to him, PRP stands for the masses and they will do all things to ensure that it get the position this time for the poor and needy to begin to enjoy. He said that it is only PRP that would bring happiness and succour  to the people, hence he called on Anambra people to rally round the party for liberation .
