Coronavirus: Nigeria records 1964 new cases 21,524 active

LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) has confirmed 1964 new cases of Coronavirus in the country, bringing all time cases to 116, 655. But out of the 116, 655 confirmed cases, 93, 646 patients have been treated and discharged, while 1485 others could not make it alive. Nigeria is now left with 21, 524 active cases of Coronavirus.
Breakdown of the new cases is as follows, Lagos-824, FCT-246, Plateau-166, Kaduna-128, Ogun-76, Nasarawa-74, Anambra-69, Edo-50, Rivers-45, Ondo-44, Niger-40, Oyo-38, Adamawa-35, Kano-31, Akwa Ibom-27, Gombe-19, Kwara-13, Ekiti-12, Delta-6, Kebbi-6, Bauchi-5, Ebonyi-4, Osun-3 and Zamfara-1, making a total of 1964 new cases of Coronavirus.

Globally, there are now 95, 612, 831 confirmed cases of Coronavirus, 2,066,176 deaths with 14, 569 patients killed by the virus in the last 24 hours based on the latest statistics released by the World Health Organisation, WHO.
According to Centre for Disease Control,(CDC) the United States remains the most affected country, reporting 24, 323, 846 confirmed cases, while 404,689 patients are already dead. See more cases HERE
