France loses 3657 lives to Coronavirus in a day as Nigeria reports 1301 new 20 641 active

LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, (NCDC) has confirmed 1,301 new cases of Coronavirus in the country, bringing all time cases to 113, 305. But out of the 113, 305 confirmed cases, 91, 200 others have been treated and discharged, while 1464 others could not make it alive. Nigeria is now left with 20, 641 active cases of Coronavirus.
Breakdown of the new cases is as follows, Lagos-551 FCT-209 Oyo-83 Plateau-65 Kaduna-64 Enugu-61 Rivers-44 Ondo-39 Benue-37 Akwa Ibom-31 Kano-19 Delta-18 Gombe-18 Ogun-16 Edo-15 Kebbi-10 Ebonyi-9 Jigawa-4 Osun-3 Zamfara-3 Borno-1 Nasarawa-1, making a total of 1301 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.

There are now 95, 938,177 confirmed cases of Coronavirus globally, 2,050,154 people have lost their lives, while 52,852,933 patients have been treated and discharged. There are now 41, 035, 090 active cases of Coronavirus worldwide, based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.
According to the centre, the United States remains the most affected country worldwide, reporting 24, 186,358 confirmed cases, while 400,292 others have passed on(145,019 new and 1704 deaths*), followed by India with 10, 581,823 confirmed cases, 152, 556 patients are no more, while 10, 228, 753 patients have recovered and subsequently discharged, leaving India with 200, 514 active cases of Coronavirus(10,050 new and 137 deaths*) and Brazil which has reported 8, 511, 770 all time infections, 210, 299 lives have been lost while 7, 569, 652 patients have been treated and discharged, leaving Brazil with 731, 819 active cases of Coronavirus(23, 671 new and 452 deaths*) .
Russia remains the 4th country most hit, reporting 3, 574, 330 confirmed cases, 65, 632 deaths have been recovered, while 2, 970, 450 patients have been treated and discharged, leaving Russia with 538, 248 active cases of Coronavirus(21,442 new and 573 deaths*), followed by the United Kingdom which has confirmed 3, 476, 786 cases, 91, 643 patients are already dead, while 8, 320 others have recovered and therefore discharged, leaving the UK with 3, 376, 823 Coronavirus cases(33, 465 new and 1613 deaths*) and France with 2, 996, 784 confirmed cases, 74, 482 deaths and 217, 745 recoveries, leaving France with 2, 704, 557 Coronavirus cases(23, 957 new and 3657 deaths*).
Italy has come up as the 7th country worst hit, reporting 2, 400, 598 confirmed cases, 83, 157 patients have passed on while 1, 781, 917 others have been treated and discharged, leaving Italy with 535, 524 active cases of Coronavirus(10, 496 new and 603 deaths*), followed by Turkey which has confirmed 2, 399, 781 cases, 24, 328 patients are already dead, while 2, 277, 987 others have recovered and subsequently discharged, leaving Turkey with 97,466 active cases of Coronavirus(6818 new and 167 deaths*) and Spain which has reported 2, 370, 742 confirmations, 54, 173 deaths and 150, 376 recoveries, leaving Spain with 2, 166, 193 Coronavirus cases(34, 291 new and 404 deaths*).
Germany remains the 10th country most affected, reporting 2, 068, 678 cases, 48, 433 patients have died as a result of the virus, while 1, 736, 911 others have recovered, leaving Germany with 283, 334 active cases of Coronavirus(9303 new and 1170 deaths*) and South Africa(16) which has reported 1, 346, 936 confirmed cases, 37, 449 patients are no more, while 1, 117,452 others have been treated and discharged, leaving South Africa with 192,035 active cases of Coronavirus.
