In an era of unending paternity test fracas, ‘Tanwa Savage’ is a journey that takes a young wife, betrayed by her husband’s incessant infidelities, deep into a dark abyss in a bid to find herself.
Here, we see Linda Osifo as we’ve never seen before, as the black beauty throws herself into a role so challenging, its emotional to see. Linda whose mantra is to challenge herself with every character she plays is true to her word as ‘Tanwa Savage’ is one of them.
Inspired by true-life events, ‘Tanwa Savage’ promises good old-fashioned scandal, drama and intrigue in a mix of English, pidgin and the vernacular of Igbo and Yoruba languages.
Written and directed by Geshin Salvador and starring alongside Linda, are notable names like Segun Arinze, Timini Egbuson, Nkechi Blessing Sunday, Joseph Momodu Uzor Arukwe who tell the ‘Tanwa Savage’ story behind marriages, adultery and its consequences, family intrusion and sheer abuse of the sanctity of marriage.
