LAGOS, Nigeria –  The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 310 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria, bringing all time cases to 68,937.  But out of the 68,937 confirmed cases, 64,650 patients have  been treated and discharged successfully, while 1,180  others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 3107 active cases of Coronavirus, #Coronavirusnigeria.

Breakdown of the new cases is as follows, FCT-128,  Lagos-86,  Kaduna-26,  Katsina-20,  Rivers-19,  Oyo-7, Benue-5,  Edo-5,  Jigawa-5,  Ogun-5,  Bayelsa-2 and Kano-2, making a total of 310 new cases.

There are now 66, 322,262 confirmed cases of Coronavirus worldwide, 1, 525,640 patients are already dead, while 43, 551,559 others have been treated and discharged. There are now 21, 245, 063 active cases of Coronavirus globally, the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, (JHU) Maryland has reported.

According to the JHU, the United States of America remains the most afflicted country globally, reporting  14, 502, 143 all time cases,  280, 581 patients are already dead, while 5, 470, 389 others  have recovered, leaving the USA with 8, 751,  173 active cases of Coronavirus(219, 649 new cases), followed by India  with 9, 608, 211 confirmed cases,   139, 700 patients already dead, while 9,058, 822 others have been treated successfully and discharged, leaving India with 409, 689 active cases of Coronavirus(36, 652 new cases) and Brazil, which has reported 6, 533,968 all time infections,  175, 964 deaths and 5, 825,745 recoveries, leaving Brazil with 532, 259 active cases of Coronavirus(46, 884 new cases).

Russia remains the 4^th country most affected, reporting  2, 410,462 confirmed cases, 42, 228 patients are no more while  1, 899, 474 others have regained their strength, leaving Russia with 468, 760  active cases of Coronavirus(28, 450 new cases), followed by France  which has documented  2, 234,626   confirmed cases,  55, 073 deaths, while 174,992 others have recovered,  leaving France with 2,004, 561 patients still down with the virus, hoping for the best of care to keep living and  the United Kingdom which has reported 1, 710, 378 all time cases,  61, 111 deaths and  3, 648 recoveries, leaving the UK with 1, 645, 619 active cases of Coronavirus(15, 588 new cases).

Italy has come up as the 7^th country most affected with  1, 709, 991 confirmed cases,  59, 514 deaths and  896, 308  recoveries, leaving Italy with 754, 169 active cases of Coronavirus(21, 052 new cases), followed by Spain which  has reported  1, 684, 647  confirmations,  46, 252 patients are already dead, while  150, 376 others have recovered, leaving Spain with 1, 488, 019  active cases of Coronavirus and Argentina  with 1, 454, 631 confirmations,  39, 512 deaths and  1, 281,955  recoveries, leaving Argentina with 133, 164 active cases of Coronavirus(6, 899 new cases).

Colombia remains the 10^th country worst hit,  reporting 1, 352,607  confirmations,   37,457  deaths and  1, 240,990 recoveries, leaving Colombia with 74, 160 active cases of Coronavirus(9, 285 new cases) and South Africa, now the 16^th country worst hit, reporting 810, 449 all time cases,  22, 067 deaths, while 774, 298 others have  recovered, leaving South Africa with 14, 084 active cases of Coronavirus(9, 577 new cases) and China now pushed to the 70^th country worst hit, reporting 93, 449 confirmations, 4, 746 deaths and  82, 240 recoveries, leaving China with 6, 463 active cases of Coronavirus.
