LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 110 new cases of Coronavirus, bringing all time cases to 67,330. Out of the 67,330 all time cases, 62,819 patients have been treated successfully and discharged, while   1,171 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 3340 active cases of Coronavirus, #Coronavirusnigeria.

Breakdown of the new cases is as follows, Lagos-26, FCT-23, Kaduna-20, Katsina-11, Ogun-7, Ekiti-6, Plateau-5, Rivers-4, Kano-3, Nasarawa-3 and Niger-2, making a total of 110 new cases,

Meanwhile, confirmed cases of  the Coronavirus pandemic worldwide now stands at 62, 036,055 with the death toll now put at 1, 448,890, while 39, 644, 086 others have survived. There are now 20, 943, 079  active cases of Coronavirus worldwide, the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, (JHU) Maryland has reported.

According to JHU, the United States of America remains the most afflicted country, reporting 13,203,218 all time cases, 265, 720 patients have passed on, while 4, 947, 446 others have been treated and discharged, leaving the United States with 7, 999, 052 active cases of Coronavirus(209, 957 new cases) followed by India, which now has 9, 351,109 confirmed cases,  136, 200 patients are no more, while 8, 759, 969 others have been given clean bill of health, leaving India with 454, 940 active cases of Coronavirus(41, 322 new cases) and then Brazil which has documented  6, 238,  350 all time cases, 171, 974 deaths and 5, 581,436 recoveries, leaving Brazil with 484, 940 active cases of Coronavirus(34, 130 new cases).

France remains the 4th country most affected by the Coronavirus pandemic, reporting 2, 260, 789 confirmations,  52,212 patients have lost their lives to the virus, while  166, 715 others have recovered, leaving France with 2, 041, 862 patients still down with Coronavirus, hoping for the best of medical care to get back on their feet(12, 793 new cases), followed by  Russia which has confirmed  2, 223, 500 cases, 38, 676 patients are already dead, while 1, 724, 416 others are now hale and hearty, leaving Russia with 460, 408 active cases of Coronavirus(26, 809 new cases) and  Spain which has confirmed 1, 628, 208  confirmations,  44, 668 deaths  while only 150, 376 patients have reportedly recovered, leaving Spain with 1, 433, 164 active cases of Coronavirus.

The United Kingdom comes in as the 7th country worst hit, reporting 1, 609, 136 all time cases, 58, 127 lives have been lost in the UK alone to Coronavirus, only 3, 481 patients have been treated and discharged successfully, leaving the UK with 1, 547, 528  active cases of Coronavirus(15, 959 new cases), followed by  Italy which has documented  1, 564, 532  confirmed cases, 54, 363 patients have passed on while 720, 861 others have been able to recover, leaving Italy with 789, 308 active cases of Coronavirus(26, 315 new cases) and Argentina with 1, 407, 277 all time cases of Coronavirus,  38, 216 patients are already dead, while 1, 235, 257 others have recovered, leaving Argentina with 133, 804 active cases of Coronavirus(7, 846 new cases).

Colombia comes next as the 10th country most affected, reporting  1, 290, 510 confirmations, 36, 214 patients are already dead, while  1, 189, 499 others have been treated and discharged, leaving Colombia with 64, 797 active cases of Coronavirus(10, 023 new cases) and South Africa now the 16th most hit, reporting  785, 139 all time infections,  21, 439 deaths and  723, 347 recoveries, leaving South Africa with 40, 353 active cases of Coronavirus(6, 568 new cases).
